This policy explains which cookies are used on spikedge.com and for what purpose. We do not use marketing, advertising, or profiling cookies; the only third-party service used for analytics is Google Analytics 4.

spikedge-theme and spikedge-consent are technically not cookies; they are kept in your browser's localStorage, on your device only. No session cookies are set for regular visitors; a session cookie is created only for admin panel (/admin) users.
Consent management
Under Google Consent Mode v2, analytics storage (analytics_storage) is set to "denied" by default; analytics cookies are loaded only if you choose "Accept" in the cookie notice. Advertising signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) remain disabled at all times. If you choose "Decline" or give no consent, the site remains fully functional. You can reset your choice by clearing this site's data in your browser; the cookie notice will then be shown again and you can make a new choice.
